I’m Alex, a husband, a father, and an ex-West End performer turned wedding filmmaker—also the person behind Mole Hill Media.
I believe weddings are one of the most meaningful opportunities we’ll ever have to gather the people we love - some of whom may never be in the same room again. I’ve always believed in collecting memories along the journey, and there’s no better occasion to document than this one. My films are a way of holding onto those relationships, those fleeting conversations, and those quiet, powerful moments that will one day mean everything. This work is personal to me, and I approach every wedding with deep care and a calm, grounded presence—so you can focus on being there, while I make sure it’s never forgotten.
I make the process easy, relaxed, and emotionally grounded from the very first enquiry. You're not dealing with a faceless brand—you’re working with someone who genuinely cares about your story and your people. I guide you with empathy and take care of the details you’d never think of—like using discreet audio techniques, micing you, your partner, and occasionally your loved ones to preserve not just vows and speeches, but the candid, fleeting moments that would otherwise be forgotten. I blend these with raw, heartfelt interviews to create a film that’s deeply personal—not just a montage, but a story. My aim is to create a calm, comfortable space where you can just be yourselves and let the authentic moments shine through.
