Hey, I’m Alex. I’m a husband, a dad, and the one behind the camera at Mole Hill Media. Before this, I spent years performing in London’s West End. It taught me a lot about timing, connection, and emotion but wedding filmmaking gave that meaning a whole new shape. Now, I get to document real stories. Yours.

To me, wedding films aren’t about sweeping drone shots or fancy edits. They’re about people. Relationships. The things you might not notice in the moment, but will mean everything later.

That’s why I focus on sound just as much as visuals. I discreetly mic you, your partner, and sometimes the people closest to you. Not just for vows or speeches—but for the off-the-cuff comments, the quiet laughs, the voice of someone you love saying something you didn’t know you needed to hear. Those are the things you’ll come back to. If you want someone to take the time to understand what this day means to you, and create something that feels like you, I’d love to connect. This isn’t just a highlight reel. It’s a way to hold onto the voices, the presence, and the energy of a moment that goes by way too fast.

Meet The Artist Behind The Lens

Films that are sentimental, deeply personal, but never staged or overly polished

how it started

Let's get to know each other, I believe this is how the best films are created.

Let's Plan Your Vision

Before Mole Hill Media, I spent years as a professional actor and singer, which I believe has made me a better filmmaker for you!

Working on scripts taught me how to read emotional arcs, to recognise the rise, the fall, and the quiet moments that make a story compelling. Music and singing taught me emotional timing and how the smallest pause, a change in rhythm, or the sound of a voice can carry more emotion than any grand gesture.

That background is why every film I create is built around sound. I understand the importance of real dialogue, the emotion inside a spoken word, and choosing music that supports, rather than overwhelms, a moment.

MY BACKGROUND

WHAT I DID BEFORE MOLE HILL MEDIA

Before Mole Hill Media, I thought a wedding film was something nice to have, perhaps a luxury, not something vital. Then life gave me a different perspective.

At my own wedding, my mum left me a message on our audio guest book. She told me how proud she was, how much she loved me. She was on palliative care for stage 4 incurable cancer. I now know what that message will mean in years to come.

My mum is still here today, but that recording—the sound of her voice, the emotion behind her words... became something priceless. My most precious possession. It made me realise that a wedding film isn’t just about a day. It’s about keeping the people we love close, even as time moves on.

This work isn’t about making things perfect. It’s about bottling what matters most.

You might not think you need a wedding film now. But one day, you will be grateful it exists.
